About the Role :
We are looking for passionate UAV Engineer – Helicopter for our R&D team. This role will play an important role in developing, integrating and Maintaining Helicopter UAVs. This role requires expertise in both rotary-wing aircraft and UAV technologies, encompassing avionics, controls, and mechanical systems. The objective is to create efficient and reliable Helicopter UAV solutions that enhance the capabilities of helicopters for various applications.
Roles and Responsibility :
• Lead the Integration of avionics and sub-systems onto helicopter platforms.
• Work closely with the development team to design and modify hardware components for integration compatibility.
• Flight controller setup and tuning the helicopter platform.
• Analyse test data, identify issues and implement solutions to improve system functionality.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of the integration process including schematics, diagrams and test results.
• Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for future reference and compliance purposes
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of Rfly helicopter platform
Mandatory Skills :
• Minimum 3 years Proven Experience in integrating and tuning Ardupilot/PX4 flight stack based Helicopter UAVs
• Hands-on experience in Assembling Helicopter UAV mechanical parts
• Strong Knowledge of avionics, flight controls and hardware/software integration
Desired Skills :
• Prior Experience in Flying RC Helicopters (would be plus)
• Excellent Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or a related qualification.
• Related Master’s degree or PhD is a plus
