MOHAMED RAFEEK
Mohamed Rafeek is the Director & CEO at RFLY Innovations Private Limited in Chennai, India.
Rafeek brings in 20 years of experience in servicing the BFSI and ITES customers in India, UK and APAC. He started his career as an ATM Engineer back in 2001 at NCR Corporation, a decade journey into ATM industry and has been specializing in solution strategy & business development for the Digital Payments portfolio.
Rafeek’s journey began with a simple Drone experiment as one of the hobbies in 2010 along with his brother Dr. Mohamed Rasheed, an Aerospace Scientist – R&D, Centre for Aerospace Research at Madras Institute of Technology. Rafeek was in Banking industry for 20 years before turning a passion for Drone Technology into a new business.
Through the Aerospace Research Lab, he deep dived in learning UAV Technology and was part of multiple missions led by his brother, which eventually led to the inception of RFLY Innovations.
Rafeek did his schooling from Atomic Energy Central School at Kalpakkam and earned his Post Graduation from IIM Lucknow. Prior to RFLY Innovations, Rafeek was working for Mindgate Solutions as VP, FSS as Senior Manager, Atos as Solution Manger and NCR as Program Manager. In ATM & Payments industry, Rafeek was managing 16 Banks in India influencing business and in ITES industry, he was managing IT services framework/technologies by working with global clients like BMW, McGraw-Hill, Daimler, Winergy & Siemens.
According to Rafeek, the successful results come through the incremental growth, getting better every day, building relationships, bringing value and building a strong team that thrives on respect and a common goal. Passion and diligence are two traits that Rafeek believes the most that represent him as an individual.

Dr. Mohamed Rasheed is a Chief Technology Officer & R&D Chief associated with RFLY Innovations Private Limited.
Dr. Mohamed Rasheed holds a doctorate degree for Control Law Design for Modern Rotary Wing UAV systems from the Anna University. He also has a Masters in Avionics from the Madras Institute of Technology. He has over 15 years of long-standing association in this field and has been instrumental in leading the development of many products like Unmanned Direct drive Helicopters, Drone Taxi, Unmanned Hybrid Multirotor, Unmanned High-Performance Fixed-wing / VTOL Fixed-wing, High-Speed Aerial Target Drones, Advance Composite structures for UAVs & Payload Design- Optimization for UAVs.
